I am originally from Louisiana. I now live in the Tampa Bay, Florida Clearwater area.

I have been writing fiction and nonfiction, columns, blogs, short stories, novels and professional manuals on every subject and genre for over forty years. Writing is my life. Helping others fulfill their dreams and grow their businesses through my writing gives me great pleasure.

I graduated from Louisiana State University in law, and after serving my 3 years in the US Army JAG, I setup my practice in New Orleans and Baton Rouge as a courtroom lawyer for a total of 43 years, trying over 250 jury trials and many other judge only trials. Many of my clients were Cajun, as half of Louisiana is Cajun country, and few know much about these great people, so I wrote a book, Cajun Delectables, about them, including 100 delicious old family recipes I cooked myself. It may be found on Amazon.

I just wrote “Do you have a story that should be told? This book will help you write it.” It is a readable summary of what I have learned over my almost half century about how to write anything. It will be on the market in January.

While I write blogs and newsletters, I prefer working on high-end, heavily researched type material, fiction and non-fiction. I love writing memoirs, novels, books on any subject-fiction and nonfiction, autobiographies, and short stories. My novels are page turners, my nonfiction projects simplify and make complex subjects readable and interesting. My blogs impinge and bring the reader back for more.

I emphasize the positive and avoid any negative unless it is called for and there is a positive answer that follows. People have enough doubt and worry as it is. I try to keep it light and friendly, unless the author wants it academic and technical, yet I will write it in the author’s “voice” (the way the client/author would say it) and strive to inspire, enlighten or entertain.

My written word count in novels, nonfiction medical, legal, blogs, newsletters, columns, editorials, short stories and poetry exceed 2 million words in print, with accolades from governors, readers and clients.

Anyone wishing to write that memoir, autobiography or story that must be told, should not wait. Time grows short. I have known many who waited too long, and the story died with them.

Any business without an effective communication line out into the world by newsletter, blog or other written media, has a world just waiting to learn of its product or services. It is today’s key to success.

I am always hearing “I want to write a book where do I start? I also hear “I want to write a book about my life.” The first question is “what are ghostwriting fees?” Call me and I will answer these questions.

I have three living children with seven grandchildren. I love fishing, the open water and mountains. I am a musician, artist, performer and eclectic reader.

At this writing I am 87 years old. I am engaged in writing blogs for two companies, some of which I will share later in this site. I am active as Master of Ceremonies and entertainment chair for shows and sponsor an open mike.

I perform on keyboard and, guitar, harmonica, ukulele and accordion and market my art and books at parks and shows where I perform. I am writing and playing my own music as well as playing music from Rachmaninoff to Rock and Roll. I am in great health and have more energy and drive than a man half my age. I am a gentle man, and have learned the benefit of understanding, kindness and hugs and smiles and make it my duty to make people laugh and feel better. I also am an adherent of the 2nd amendment and my guns are loaded. My motto is “If you don’t want me walking on you, get up off the floor.” My job is ahead of me and I am headed that way every waking minute. I don’t look back and have nothing to regret.

If you want someone to help you write that book or whatever and pick me, you will get a man who has ridden in many of life’s rodeo’s, been gored, chased by bulls and bucked off, but I always got back up. Like the old Chinese saying: Fall down seven, get up eight. I am an artist of many arts and my favorite art is writing – words are like candy to me. I love to string them together so they taste best.
